| so i was browsing through my subscriptions today for the first time in months. i go to click on one of my church buddies' sites, and xanga tells me that his site has been rated "EX - Explicit Content" - Adults only. No one under 18 allowed.
chuckling to myself, i try to bypass this. but, apparently i need to submit my credit card information [fat chance] or send in a photocopy of my drivers license.
ignoring this, i go back to xanga, and i get some popup that accuses me of having porn websites in my computer's history, and that i may be compromising my career or marriage... blah blah blah. [i got two variations of this]
what the hell xanga? my problems with this:
-this computer gets popups like once a month, and only from crappy torrent sites.
-This computer has never been on a porn site
-xanga has secured user pages like fort knox, but cannot secure its own website
-apparently I am old enough to have a career or be married, but not enough to be considered "adult"
-is a credit card a sudden indicator of being an adult? I had one when I was 16...
screw you xanga
xanga, we have had a nice relationship, but this is it. we are through. I dont want to be associated with you, i dont even want to be friends. I will continue to use you to see my friends, but try not to make eye contact with me. while i use you, i will remind you of how crappy you are, and i will repeatedly cuss at you.
please take this seriously.

| so, I got tired of vista
but in an attempt to dual boot vista with linux, i bloke vista. so now im only running linux. i could fix everything back if i wanted, but i like the challenge of this exotic operating system. so far i have had much frustration with a few "aha" moments.
exciting? yes. nerdy? says you.
